It has been our desire to create a CD, not because we are excellent musicians (or technicians) or because we want to promote ourselves, or even RUF, but because we love these songs and think that they speak volumes about the Lord to which they are sung by congregations worldwide. We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached through these songs, and that makes them worth singing, worth recording, worth listening to.

Even as Christians, we are guilty of forgetting the Gospel. We do not continually hold in the forefront of our minds the message of the Cross as we should. In the Old Testament, God constantly commands His people to remember what He has done for them, and He constantly rebukes them for forgetting. Likewise, we are guilty of that exact sin.

It is our prayer that through this album you would be reminded anew of the Gospel of Christ, and that while listening to this album that message would permeate your mind, soul, and heart.
