Rating: 4 Review By: AMH This is one of the best study Bibles I've
ever used. It has a thorogh x-
reference system, large print, and
plenty of room for notetaking. It is
geared for Kay Arthur's inductive
method, although you don't have to
use her way. It does guide you
through the inductive method quite
well, which is essentially a simple
guide to hermeneutics. I find the
charts and tables to fill in helpful and
make you dig deeper into the Word.
This Bible doesn't tell you a whole lot;
rather, it makes you discover it
yourself. The in-depth history of
Israel and the study resources in the
back are great. The only downsides
are the lack of maps when compared
to the Zondervan NASB Study Bible and
a pretty weak concordance. On the
other hand, Arthur assumes you own
or will purchase an exhaustive
concordance as part of an essential
reference library. Get Zondervan's
NASB Exhaustive Concordance. You
won't regret it. |
